Post-exam Day 2 :D

Hi to the Nelly reading this post in the future!
I will tell you something irrlevant... I went to Wan Ting's blog just now and saw Cherry. She looked exactly like my senior Shanon but with different hairstyles. Cherry looking all feminine while Shanon's head is topped with spiky short hair. Same face, different hairstyles, those just give you a different impression of both of them respectively. LOL, I am talking like a Jury in Style By Jury.

Today, we listened to this cyber wellness talk which I find VERY useful. Http:// this Https://www.blogger.com. Doesn't that already show?

After the talk, I was even more angry with the internet. I hate it even more. Hello? It's obvious that the cons weigh over the pros of the internet. However, if not for the internet, I would not be posting down here. I don't trust the internet. Yet, I'm posting here. I don't trust the internet. That's why my blog entries could never be as in-depth as it should have been in a private diary. I post on blog for the sake of its popularity. I mean like everyone around me has a blog and all, if you just don't blog, doesn't it show how anti-social you are? I don't like blogging but I am forced to. I don't get the point for blogging, really. I simply don't get it. Blogging is like just showing off. Luring people to tag you. Increasing your so-called popularity. I don't know!! But just so many threats are actually on the internet!!!
Conclusion - buy original CDs, don't download illegally. I never ever knew that downloading from limewire is illegal. I mean, I ever came across with that comment on Yahoo Answers but I just thought that it's not credible. UNTIL today, this expert came and so professionally told us so many stuff we never knew they're so dangerous, I just can't help admitting.
Conclusion - don't spend more than 2 hours on the net. It's not addictive to me. I don't play games anymore. They are just lamos. Stupid games. Play for what? They can't help you in anyway. OK perhaps mentally. I mean like you shoot here, shoot there, increase your alertness or something. But over-gaming just cause mental illness on you. Violence naturally conquers you. You never know. I don't know why people actually started gaming. Maybe they are interesting. Yes they are, I must confess that the sound of 'Audition' just switched on the bulb in my mind LAST TIME. Now, I am completely deadpan towards this normal word, 'AUDITION'. You dance in audition, yeah you dance. Faking. Dancing with your fingers. What's the point? You're not physically dancing. You're just using your ten fingers to dance. You call this 'indulgement'? You're not sweating. You're not feeling the beat. You're faking your dance. Facebook games? I don't even think about it. What pet society? You're not owning a pet in real life. You're owning it in the computer. How fake is that? I don't know how the game works but just telling me it's called 'pet society', I don't know how you're going to have fun playing it.

erm... I think I am improving my assertiveness but am I very accusing? But I AM stating the fact.

Conclusion - education comes first. I don't care how fun, how intriguing the internet is. I just don't care. Even if it is. I don't fail my parents. They are the two most important people in my life, without them, I won't be here. They work so hard just to nurture me. Why should we hurt them? We should never ever oppose them even if you think you should. Sometimes, they are in the wrong, but you'd just have to resist your sense of anger and get your patience and humanity. Our parents rock K!

Regret

Sorry for the confusion, people! BUT mynameisnelly.bs.com is the right one! I know - I've relinked too many times... wait I think I'm just going delete those unused blogs first so as to make things cleaner and not to steal these url names so that people who wanted these names can use them as their blog url.

DELETED! YAY! Hence, for now, on my blogger home page, I only have got 1I BLOG and my blog which is this mynameisnelly.bs.com - it's a silly url but it's simple and straightforward and UNIQUE!

Great. Title - regret. What regret? Well, it goes like this. My cousin, Charlotte had her celebration of turning 16 for her Chinese birthday today at Hong Kong. I am so glad for her!! I wanted to go to Hong Kong so dearly but couldn't. If only we were informed, then we would have ended up in H.K today since you know, I've got like a 5-day holiday! Oh my gosh, I can't believe that I actually MISSED this chance! I have had 5 completely free days - Friday, Saturday (TODAY!), Sunday, Monday and Tuesday! Oops, fine, it's not COMPLETELY FREE, just no school kays! Friday, I've got piano so it's actually not counted. Sunday, I've got Art so it's also not counted. Monday, going out with HWEELEE -.- Tuesday, Queenie has school -.- ALL IN ALL, it's today, the only COMPLETELY FREE day and I totally didn't use this chance. THE ONLY CHANCE.

If only we had been keeping in touch with each other (with my cousins), I would have known. I can't believe that our coldness on the outside towards each other overpowers what we truly felt. I mean, ok, like now, we've all grown up and kind of think that we don't match anymore. She's hongkong-ish and we are singapore-ish. IT'S DAMN UNTRUE LORH OKAY. We still missed them. We still remember all the wonderful times we had together. we HAD together. We still speak cantonese at home, we still watch HONG KONG drama, WE still stick to what's happening in HK. Right, so from this 'lesson', I learnt to face people whom we have a gap between and stop doing what it's not supposed to be like. But I don't mean we have a gap. WE MADE that stupid freaking gap. AND I am going to close it and shut us tight.

Anyway, I hadn't been doing a lot of things today. Today, I did few minutes of wallowing in misery of what I had mentioned above. On the positive side, I tidied up Nora's dishevelled shelf the whole day. Serious, THE WHOLE DAY. I don't need any complimentary comments or gratitude, the sense of satisfaction I felt within was more than enough. BUT of course, there's MORE! The living room is totally not a place where anyone can survive.

At 6.30pm, Queeenie and I jogged to Parkway. It's pretty annoying that we constantly need to stop in front of traffic lights. HMPH. Until we finally reached Parkway around 15minutes later, we bought Nora's barbie DVD- Barbie and the Swan Lake as a reward for her and for us, Confession of a Shopaholic. When we reached home, we watched Confession of a Shophaholic while having dinner. The movie was funny in a way but it's not COMPLETE! The book actually stir me a lot more effectively.

From this, I learnt that hard work, as in your efforts actually bring out results/good things. In one sentence, good things come out of hard works. Merely watching a movie might be an easy thing to do but you don't get all that you would get from a book. You need to check the dictionary for unfamiliar words in a book but ultimately when you'd read the book, you'd feel so gratified.

You have to mill, to face obstacles, no matter how difficult they might be. 'Cause you'll never know just how wonderful they may turn out.

My birthday

decided to post some ancient-history stuff. hahas (:

I owed you. (now that I resumed blogging, that's the right thing to do [:)

1st adventure accomplished

Hello World!
I have no idea why I just can't help sweating. I mean like I am not hot (as in warm) at all, but beads of sweat just keep flowing down my cheeks which is ANNOYING.

Anyway, you know I'd moved house right? Yup, so there's this park near my house and I just went there with Queenie and Nora who are my sisters. (Queenie is 13yrsold while Nora is 6yrsold. ) So, we intended to get Nora riding her scooter merrily in the park. BUT! Things went wrong. Nora was as timid as ever, riding the scooter in a speed that is far slower than a turtle's. So we just patiently followed her, trying very hard not to offend her zi zun xin. But, I can't help anymore, hence, patiently, I told her,"Nora, please, the foot where you land on the ground, you can actually use your toes to push yourself forward, that'll be faster~" "AND YOU CAN LEAVE UP THAT FOOT TO GO FASTER! BOTH FEET OFF THE GROUND PLS!" Queenie exploded. (well, that's not really what she'd said. Still, she was angry) "IF YOU DONT WANT TO RIDE, THEN I SHALL THROW YOUR SCOOTER AWAY!" Volcano erupted. But she's serious. She snatched the pink scooter away and fastened her footsteps.

While she was boiling, Nora and I secretly went the other way. (But that just heat Queenie up even more) Nora and I went to play! LOL. We went to an unusual place. Across the park where it's all deserted. (I'm just curious to know what's on the other side of the park) I told Nora that maybe later we can give Queenie a surprise when she saw us on the other side. Little did we know that danger was uncovering itself... As we walked down the narrow aisle, dogs bark from every house all ferociously. I whispered to Nora and told her to keep really quiet or we'll get into trouble. Of course, everyone knows that dogs can sense anything right? They just barked as we passed their houses despite our soundless footsteps. I told Nora to hold my hand really tightly as the floor went steeper, so steep to the extent that we might fall into the river.

To our relief, there's actually a way out on the other side. We got free and saw Queenie's tomato face. Nora immediately poked her butt, trying to make her happy. However, she just didn't say anything. -.- As we walked back home, we saw Nora's scooter standing by a rubbish bin. I took her scooter and Nora improved her riding skills instantaneously. I bet the super scary ignoring dogs barking adventure works for her. Motivation rocks.

And I can tell you one thing for sure - if Queenie ever walks that aisle, she will faint halfway. But she dared me that she won't. :P!

over and a new beginning

EYE IS FINALLY OVER.
and I am FINALLY back to blogging. It's been like 2 months since I last blogged? So, you know what, I'll just make an effort to blog weekly for now. And you know what? I've been searching for a blogskin for an hour and finally found something satisfying. But it seems familiar, I think maybe Yf or someone else used before. Just for now, hopefully, no one is using it.

I think blogskins nowdays are really not that nice anymore. It's like everyone can do such simple 'nice' skins. I don't even think those iconic simple skins are nice anymore 'cause I am so sick of it. I still prefer my old picture-ful blogskins. They rock so much more OKAY. 'cause picture speaks a thousand words and you need a thousand words to match with a picture. That's why I say Art rocks harder than Literature.

I shan't blog too heavily. Well... oh yes I haven't even touch my theory yet 'cause I've been revising this whole week and tomorrow's my piano lesson. Urm but I'm gonna finish it by tonight.

Yes I also did You Jing's present today, heeheehee. Youjing, you will get your lovely present on Monday.
