First experience on earthquake

Today, is a special day, because it is my first experience on earthquake!!! "EARTHQUAKE??" You might wondered,"How can you be here writing this blog entry if you had experienced it??I mean you will have lesser chance to stay alive!" Okay... Now I could tell you that I am very lucky and fortunate that I didn't die, as I am now at Singapore! Singapore don't have earthquakes, do it?? Of course not, NEVER EVER! There's why my dad chose to stay in Singapore but not other countries, well, not only Singapore is that safe, a lot other countries are also safe, it's just that Singapore is the one my dad knew of the most safe one. Hong Kong is actually quite safe but it had got typhoons and education is not that good compared with Singapore. That's why my dad wanted me, I mean my family to come to Singapore from Hong Kong. If only I am in Hong Kong today, I won't be experiencing Earthquake, but thanks to my dad that he had brought me to Singapore, for my first experience on earthquake!!

This afternoon, when we were ready for school, all those preparation again... Yet, it was pretty rush, as I haven't finish my homework by 11.30... By that time, I almost finished my homework, 1 homework , not homework, so called homework, it's an essay on drugs for competition with other school pupils and only the first and second class get a chance to participate! Alright, after I had done that essay, I got my clothes and went to the washroom and change the school P.E attire, that's when it happened!! My grandma exclaimed,"Waaaa! What's making this flat to move, I am getting an headache!""It's earthquake!"My Dad screamed madly. I came out with my school clothes and felt it. I felt dizzy, like the whole apartment is going to fall, hopefully, it's just shook a bit, then, it remained still, very still, and the earthquake ended!

My dad remembered how his first experience on earthquake was, he told us that he had his first experience of earthquake in Beijing. He was there to visit his teacher with his friends, when he was 14 years old. He told us that the Earthquake was happening at night,about 3o'clock and he fell from his bed to the ground and bang! His head was in pain... But that time, the whole building fell and my dad's father, my grandfather, called by calligraph to tell my dad to leave Beijing as fast as he could... My dad also shared with us what is calligraph, it's like a phone. I asked daddy how to use it and he said that you just have to type the person name code on a machine and you could contact with that person with another same kind of machine... How interesting!

Well, I was pretty lucky that I am in Singapore now to experience the earthquake, the ground shook slightly... That's my first experience on this earthquake happening in Indonesia...NOT AGAIN!
